Enterprise Data Architect

The job

As the Enterprise Data architect your job is to do a full review of this fast moving FinTech's Data Architecture with the ultimate aim for them to take full advantage of the Power BI suite so that the 1000's of reports that they create daily are produced, quickly, accurately with low/zero latency.

The business has grown quickly in recent years and the data architecture/BI reporting has been bolted together bit by bit. The lack of holistic planning in their data architecture means that their reporting function is not perfect. Which is why we need you.

The current situation is that this business has purchased Power BI, sitting on AWS, but it does not work completely in all global territories. As such you need to look at the overall architecture and re-build something that is fit for purpose today and will be able to scale with them.

To take on this job you must have strong infrastructure architecture experience, specifically around data, power BI and AWS and Azure. You will have experience of reviewing architecture, making adjustments and solving complex issues. You will probably have worked in a FinTech or a financial institution and you will be at the top of your game.

This is not a Power BI Reporting job, more of a data/infrastructure architecture job

This company is a FinTech that is funded by and supports institutional investors around the world. They are experiencing a huge amount of success, which is creating a lot more work for them to so. They are in the scaling phase.

The leadership team are strong technologists who are passionate about what they do.
