Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/TypeScript)

Xcede are working with a Cambridge university spin-out in the LegalTech space who's product massively improves the contract review process for legal documents. They use NLP and AI techniques to improve both the speed and efficiency of the industry.

They are currently at the scale-up phase and are now looking for a Technical Lead to join their team of over fifteen engineers. This Lead will work with the CTO, using a Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, AWS and Kubernetes stack. Also great if you're proficient with CI/CD and TDD!

With offices in both Cambridge and London, you are able to work from both sites on a hybrid basis, once per month.

Requirements:

* 5+ years' experience as a Senior or Staff Engineer

* Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Trunk Based Development

* Excellent Python knowledge Desirable but not essential experience:

* Self-motivated with excellent intuition for what needs to be done and great attention to detail

Desirable but not essential experience:

* Self-motivated with excellent intuition for what needs to be done and great attention to detail

* Familiar with coding standards and guidelines and a desire to craft beautiful code

* An understanding of the key principles of software design patterns

* Proficient in SQL

* Demonstrable knowledge of React

* Familiar with Azure or AWS
